For the first time ever there will be a Toys Us brand presence in Mexico.

WHP Global, the parent company, is partnering with omnichannel retailer El Puerto de Liverpool, SAF de CV to develop standalone stores and an e-commerce presence, according to a press release.

Since its acquisition by WHP Global in 2021, Toys R’ Us has doubled its footprint by 50% in 2022 with the national rollout in the U.S. at all Macy’s stores and recent launches in India, the United Kingdom and Australia.

The digital and physical launches are slated to be up and running by the holiday season.
