The debut album/EP from Sonya Haramis invites us to open, awaken, blossom, and return to oneself and to the oneness we are. Sonya is an award-winning author and storyteller who focuses on weaving ancient wisdom into modern stories, gently beckoning us to find our power within, even when we feel hopeless. Here, there are seven tracks — about 26 minutes — of traditional New Age music done on a synth. Angelic in tone, the ambient music carries us effortlessly into a state of tranquility. Brimming with love, this EP brings us into a state of peace and harmony right from the start.

This exquisitely gorgeous 11-track album is authentic in every note and thoroughly enjoyable in every way. Mainly piano with light orchestration, each track is masterfully composed and performed. Some tracks feature subtle percussion, ethereal voices, sitar, jazz flute, and guitar. All here is engagingly melodic and with wonderful chord harmonies and structure. The mood ranges from meditative to epic, and serious, mysterious, to romantic, passionate, and emotionally stirring to light and fun. A single from the album, The Bexley Bop, an energetic, jazzy crossover, has gone viral. Not to be missed, this entire album is outstanding in every way.

Perfectly capturing the rich tapestry that is the American Southwest, this album is comprised of 13 piano based instrumentals. There is something truly special about Elizabeth’s piano performances here. She plays with an ease and grace that is not typical or generic and there is nothing forced or halting about her style. Everything just flows. This kind of elegant refinement is a rare find. Several guest artists contribute to the ambiance: Grammy®-winning artist Nancy Rumbel (Native American flute, English horn), Leon Christian (guitar), Melinda Leoce (percussion), Eugene Bazhanov (violin), Benjamin Lange (mandolin), and David Lange (accordion). An extraordinarily beautiful album.
