Michele is a multi-award-winning contemporary solo pianist and composer. Twenty-two albums and over a billion spins on streaming platforms, she’s doing something right. Her music is radiant, as is she. There is something so genuine, so unpretentious and authentic about Michele and her music, one can’t help but be captivated. Her latest album, “Luminous,” is 10 tracks of just gorgeous solo piano music through and through. Relaxing, uplifting, and flowing, with nothing forced or disingenuous, there’s a genuine sensitivity, gentleness, focus, grace, and refinement here that are just some of the qualities that make this album quite special. Luminous, indeed.

Tale of the Oakenwish

Christopher Caouette, Christopher Caouette Music
www.christophercaouette.com

Christopher has been creating his unique fantasy/storytelling style of “New Age” music since 1986. This 10-track cinematic/soundtrack style album is a blend of Celtic, world, electronic, and classical. The story is about an elf, Kisyra Cedarsong, whose people live under the oppression of evil rulers. The “story” is about an ancient bow created by the Fae: Possessing the bow brings about one’s heart’s desire. However, such will come at great cost. Through the discovery of a hidden box, Kisyra is led to travel to the Forest of the Mist. The album is the story of that journey. Breathtaking music and engaging journey.

Into the Unknown

Joseph L Young, Independent Artist
www.josephlyoung.com

The 6th album from this talented multi-instrumentalist is 11 tracks, 55 minutes of “music without boundaries,” offering everyone a universal sound to be enjoyed. The compositions are a little out of the norm for the kind of music Joseph usually creates, and not traditionally “New Age,” so it’s a “journey into the unknown” for him as an artist. Here, Joseph performs on flutes, sax, keyboards, duduk, udu, and Vietnamese mouth harp. There is one track, “Remembrance of Time,” co-written by and featuring pianist Lynn Tredeau. The combination of instrumentation and stellar production gives the album an exciting, exotic, yet relaxing feel.
