Adidas has confirmed it is releasing a second batch of Yeezy trainers in an attempt to shift the unsold footwear.<\/p>\n

The sportswear brand cancelled its collaboration with American rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, in October after he made antisemitic remarks and faced allegations of inappropriate behaviour while working with Adidas.<\/p>\n

The move left the retailer with \u00a31bn worth of unsold Yeezys.<\/p>\n

Adidas said in May that it will be donating a significant portion of proceeds from the sale\u00a0to selected organisations fighting \u201cdiscrimination and hate, including racism and antisemitism\u201d.<\/p>\n\n

The second drop of products will be available through the retailer\u2019s app and website from 2 August via a phased release.<\/p>\n

The available models include the Yeezy Boost 350 V2, 500, and 700 and the Yeezy Slide.<\/p>\n

Adidas revealed earlier this week its had collected $565m of orders from its first drop of unsold Yeezy shoes, squashing fears the sporting giant would have to take a big write down of stock.<\/p>\n
