Iceland is taking on Amazon\u2019s Prime Day sales event with the launch of its latest value campaign Discount Dash.<\/p>\n

The supermarket is offering its shoppers exclusive discounts on 42 products \u2013 ranging from household staples to TGI Friday fakeaways \u2013 on Tuesday and Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Customers can save an average of 33% on items that \u201cfamilies need the most\u201d.<\/p>\n

The chain is also offering up to 50% off selected household products including a family pool, Bluetooth karaoke machine and a blender.<\/p>\n\n

Iceland Foods and The Food Warehouse group buying director Andrew Staniland said: \u201cWe know how popular events like Amazon\u2019s \u2018Prime Day\u2019 are for the public, but we wanted to make something more accessible for our customers \u2013 providing great deals on value items to meet household needs with our Discount Dash.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is just another opportunity for our customers to make the most of unmissable value at Iceland.\u201d<\/p>\n

The supermarket revealed last week it was on track to deliver its highest profit in ten years thanks to its increased focus on value.<\/p>\n

Iceland is expecting to deliver an adjusted profit that exceeds the \u00a3176m it made in 2021.<\/p>\n
