- Pets at Home has hired ex-Asda exec Steve Shirley as operations director for retail, completing the division’s senior leadership team. Shirley was most recently<\/span> vice-president for wholesale and convenience at Asda<\/li>\n
- Matalan has continued its hiring spree under new chief executive Jo Whitfield, appointing ex-The Very Group COO as chief supply chain operations officer and former Paperchase exec Katherine Davis as chief retail officer<\/span><\/li>\n
- Frasers Group fashion CEO Greg Pateras has stepped down. Pateras, who was CEO of ISawItFirst.com before Frasers bought it last year, and stayed on board to lead the integration of the business and Missguided into the retail group<\/span><\/li>\n
- The BRC has named retail veteran Andy Higginson as its next chair, succeeding Tony De Nunzio as his tenure comes to an end in September 2023. Higginson has been chairman of Poundland, N Brown and Morrisons and is currently chair of<\/span> JD Sports<\/span> Fashion<\/span><\/li>\n
- Sweaty Betty has named former Jo Malone exec, Melissa Mullen, as global brand president. She replaces chief executive Julia Straus, who is returning to the US with her family<\/li>\n
