Picture: Danny Loo\/CPG Media<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\/\/<\/span> Sainsbury\u2019s nectar prices are now available on fresh fruit and vegetables, with selected products at half price<\/h6>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\/\/\u00a0<\/span>The loyalty prices are also rolling out into food-to-go products and ready meals including branded and own brand ranges<\/h6>\n<hr\/>\n<p><span class=\"marknvjkr5nb2\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Sainsbury<\/span>\u2019s has expanded its Nectar prices loyalty initiative to include fresh produce and ready meals for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>The grocer\u2018s scheme, which was launched in April this year, offers lower prices to its 18 million users that are signed up to the Nectar card loyalty scheme.<\/p>\n<p>As of today, customers will be able to get Nectar Prices on a variety of popular fresh fruit and vegetables, including by Sainsbury\u2019s Strawberries (usually \u00a32.25, Nectar Price \u00a31.75), by Sainsbury\u2019s Easy Peelers (usually \u00a31.35, Nectar Price \u00a31) and more.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p class=\"an\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Subscribe to Retail Gazette for free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"x_al\">Sign up\u00a0here\u00a0to g<\/span><span class=\"x_al\">et the latest news straight into your inbox each morning<\/span><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p>Nectar Prices will also be available on a selection of branded ready meals such as Wasabi Chicken Katsu Curry with Rice (usually \u00a34.25, Nectar Price \u00a33.75) and Charlie Bigham\u2019s Lasagne (usually \u00a39.50, Nectar Price \u00a37).<\/p>\n<p>Sainsbury\u2019s own-brand ready meals including Taste the Difference and by Sainsbury\u2019s products will also be included.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the expansion into two new categories, the supermarket now has over 2800 products included in Nectar Prices.<\/p>\n<p>Since the launch of Nectar Prices in April, shoppers have saved over \u00a383m, with customers saving an average of \u00a33.20 each time they shop.<\/p>\n<p>Sainsbury\u2019s director of Nectar and loyalty Sam Burston said: \u201cWe\u2019re always looking for new ways to provide great value to our customers all-year round, helping customers make their money go further.
