The deal will see \u201cthe introduction of Sports Direct\u2019s elevated stores across Indonesia and incorporates both wholesale and retail components\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Mike Ashley-owned group said the collaboration \u201cis the first step in a region-wide expansion between two industry leading corporations in retail\u201d.<\/p>\n
The stores will cover \u201call key categories, including football, running, training, outdoor, rackets, swim and leisure\u201d. Ans they\u2019ll appear in \u201cmajor retail malls throughout Indonesia\u201d, while also including Frasers\u2019 USC premium fashion banner.<\/p>\n

The new joint venture forms part of an Asian expansion drive for the group, which already has 35 stores in Malaysia.<\/p>\n
Frasers Group chief executive Michael Murray, said: \u201cAs part of our continued international expansion strategy and the success of our existing business in Malaysia, we are excited to grow our Southeast Asian footprint with a presence in Indonesia. Today\u2019s announcement supports our vision to build the planet\u2019s most admired and compelling brand ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n
