The grocer\u2019s annual report shows that the chief executive picked up \u00a33.96m in bonuses on top of a \u00a3899,000 a year salary and other benefits \u2013 up 37% from the \u00a33.6m pay packet the year prior.<\/p>\n
It said Roberts would receive a 4% fixed pay increase for the current year, which it pointed out was in line with the salary increase awarded to senior management and was below the 10% given to store staff over the last year.<\/p>\n

It said his successor Bl\u00e1thnaid Bergin was \u201cnot eligible for a May pay increase given her appointment in March\u201d. Her fixed pay salary for the current year is \u00a3650,000.<\/p>\n
