Sainsbury\u2019s has welcomed shoppers to its 10th<\/sup> Neighbourhood Hub store, based in Henfield, West Sussex, as it rolls out the new concept.<\/p>\n

The Neighbourhood Hub stores are \u201ca food-led interpretation of its renowned supermarket offer whose size sits between that of convenience stores and supermarkets\u201d.<\/p>\n

The grocery giant has \u201cspecifically curated product ranges\u201d across the stores, and location choices have been selected to give shoppers exactly what they need to do their weekly shop locally.<\/p>\n

Sainsbury\u2019s said it aimed to provide the best \u201cin neighbourhood one-stop offer\u201d for customers, focusing on product choice, great value and community.<\/p>\n

The new Neighbourhood Hub store opens in Henfield after three months of comprehensive upgrade works.<\/p>\n

The retailer bought the building from Knight\u2019s Budgens last year and all employees from the original shop have been kept on.<\/p>\n\n

Sainsbury\u2019s property director Patrick Dunne said: \u201cWe\u2019re excited to have launched our tenth Neighbourhood Hub store this morning following a major investment, giving the local community in Henfield the chance to experience Sainsbury\u2019s fantastic product offer from one of our latest format stores.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cLike the rest of our estate, Sainsbury\u2019s Henfield Local will operate using 100% renewable electricity and 100% LED lighting as part of our ambition to become net zero in our own operations by 2035.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the only new Sainsbury\u2019s store to open of late, with the retailer launching an energy-efficient flagship supermarket earlier in May.<\/p>\n

The Hook-based shop plans to use just half the energy of a similar-sized supermarket.<\/p>\n
