Sainsbury\u2019s is to launch a free \u2018Book-a-BBQ Garden\u2019 in South Bank, London this summer.<\/p>\n

The \u2018first of its kind\u2019 event will run from 1 to 3 June during National BBQ Week and will give guests the chance to enjoy lunch or dinner using the supermarkets new summer range.<\/p>\n

The garden will be open from 12pm to 8pm and looks to give some of the 15m Brits who don\u2019t have space to host a BBQ, somewhere to enjoy one.<\/p>\n

Guests will receive a Sainsbury\u2019s food hamper on arrival and be provided with a hot Weber Spirit gas barbeque to use for free during the booking time.<\/p>\n\n

There will be three hampers to choose from which will contain products such as beef rib and brisket burgers, Middle Eastern-style koftas and feta salad, as well as desserts and mocktails.<\/p>\n

\u201cSummer is a time for celebration and getting together with friends and family to enjoy delicious food. But for those who don\u2019t have access to outside space at home, that doesn\u2019t mean they should miss out,\u201d Sainsbury\u2019s director of product and innovation, Claire Hughes said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why we\u2019ve launched the Sainsbury\u2019s Book-a-BBQ Garden, keeping food at the heart of it, as we make it our mission to ensure even those without their own outdoor area can still enjoy the season\u2019s smoky, BBQ flavours.\u201d<\/p>\n

The garden can be pre-booked via Design my Night for groups of up to six people, with 90 minute slots available.<\/p>\n
