Asda will begin stocking the \u2018Universal Bag\u2019 in 300 stores from the end of this month, while Co-op will stock the tote bags from March.<\/p>\n
The Universal Bag is reusable, durable, 100% recycled and recyclable. They are priced at\u00a0\u00a310 and come with a 10-year guarantee.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can do it better,\u201d Hindmarch said on offering reusable carrier bags.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are something like 8bn tonnes of plastic on the planet and that is really shocking when you think about it.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is nothing better than using the bag you already have.\u201d<\/p>\n
Asda acting chief customer officer, Sam Dickson said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to partner with Anya Hindmarch on the Universal Bag project and support such an important issue.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe opportunity to create our own exclusive version meant we were able to give our customers a great quality, sustainable product, in our trademark \u2018Asda green\u2019. I\u2019m sure shoppers will be very excited at the prospect of picking up an Anya Hindmarch bag in store during their weekly shop and we can\u2019t wait to see the response.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
