\/\/<\/span> Co-op appoints N Brown exec Kenyatte Nelson as chief membership and customer officer<\/h6>\n\/\/\u00a0<\/span>Nelson has over 20 years experience, having previously worked at N Brown, Missguided and The Very Group<\/h6>\nThe Co-op has named ex-N Brown executive Kenyatte Nelson as its chief membership and customer officer, 18 months since Matt Atkinson stepped down from the role.<\/p>\n
Nelson will join the retailer this month bringing with him over 20 years of marketing experience.<\/p>\n
He was previously the chief brand officer at JD Williams owner N Brown but left the group in October after almost four years. Prior to this he held leadership roles at Missguided, Shop Direct (now The Very Group) and Procter & Gamble.<\/p>\n
In his new role, he will be responsible for The Co-op\u2019s membership, marketing and brand strategies. This includes supporting the Co-op\u2019s presence at UK music festivals and the mutual\u2019s naming rights partnership with Co-op Live, which is anticipated to be one of the world\u2019s premier music and entertainment arenas, based in Manchester city centre.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI could not be more excited about joining the Co-op Group.<\/p>\n
