Potentially valuable back-end use cases included automated sales pitch prep, training exercises, internal search, demand planning and post-call transcription.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Beauty brands are pursuing AI with a number of applications in mind. L\u2019Or\u00e9al, one of the industry\u2019s biggest players, is <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>collaborating with IBM<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span> to develop an AI model to help develop product formulas that meet sustainability goals, the companies said in January.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"standard-heading\"><span><span><span><strong><span><span>Unleashing cost savings<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Similar to ELC, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Ulta<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span> is going through its own realignment while ramping up AI projects.
