People come to us to discover new ideas, and Primark has the products that allow them to bring those ideas to life affordably and stylishly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"986\">&#8220;When you combine Pinterest&#8217;s powerful search capabilities with Primark\u2019s trend-led, budget-friendly homeware, it creates a seamless experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1228\">According to recent consumer research from the platform, 86% of UK adults expect to spend money on small home d\u00e9cor updates and Pinterest has become a go-to place for discovering these kinds of inspirations, and Primark is leveraging this to its advantage.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1575\">But it\u2019s not just about inspiration; it\u2019s about making that inspiration actionable.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1575\">\u201cThe goal here is to inspire people, then help them take that next step,\u201d Clark explains. \u201cWith Pinterest, users can save collages\u2014curated collections of Pins\u2014which they can then use as shopping lists. It\u2019s a seamless transition from inspiration to purchase.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_183704\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-183704\" style=\"width: 301px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-183704\" src=\"https:\/\/www.retailgazette.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/HeatherClark_Headshot.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"301\" height=\"283\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-183704\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Heather Clark, head of retail at Pinterest UK<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p data-start=\"1577\" data-end=\"1710\">Pinterest users are saving these collages at twice the rate of other Pins, showing just how much engagement these mood boards drive.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"1956\">\u201cHome d\u00e9cor is one of the categories where we\u2019ve seen the most growth in engagement,\u201d Clark adds. \u201cWe know from our data that users are saving more ideas, creating these visual collages, and they\u2019re more likely to buy when they\u2019ve done that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"1956\">Pinterest UK data shows that more than 12 million users engage with home d\u00e9cor content, with rising searches for terms like \u2018cosy cottage bedroom\u2019 (+170%) and \u2018whimsical bedroom\u2019 (+130%).<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3014\" data-end=\"3062\"><strong data-start=\"3018\" data-end=\"3062\">Bridging the digital and physical divide<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3543\">It\u2019s clear that the Pinterest x Primark collaboration is about more than just online inspiration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3543\">\u201cWhat makes this partnership so exciting is how it marries the digital and physical worlds,\u201d Clark says.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3064\" data-end=\"3543\">\u201cPrimark has a strong presence on the high street, and we\u2019re bringing that in-store experience to life with Pinterest Collages and in-store activations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3545\" data-end=\"3885\">Pinterest is integrating product recommendations directly into its Collages, allowing users to see exactly where they can purchase what they\u2019ve pinned.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3545\" data-end=\"3885\">In stores,\u00a0Primark\u2019s new homeware collections will be showcased in a way that directly mirrors what users have been pinning online.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3545\" data-end=\"3885\">\u201cShoppers no longer have to go online and search around to find the items they\u2019ve been inspired by,\u201d Clark notes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3545\" data-end=\"3885\">\u201cThey can walk into a Primark store and instantly spot the pieces they\u2019ve saved to their boards, making it easier than ever to bring their Pinterest dreams to life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3545\" data-end=\"3885\">The retailer is also hosting a series of in-store Pinterest Collage masterclasses throughout March, hosted in its flagship stores in London, Belfast, Liverpool, and Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"3018\" data-end=\"3062\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-183705 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.retailgazette.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/primark-pinterest-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Following the launch of Primark and Pinterest's collaboration, Retail Gazette speaks to Pinterest UK\u2019s Heather Clark about how the partnership is reshaping the future of shopping\" width=\"920\" height=\"517\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"1993\"><strong data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"1993\">The power of Pinterest data<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1995\" data-end=\"2201\">As the digital space becomes increasingly crowded, data plays a crucial role in shaping retail strategies. It analyses your interactions, the visuals you save, and makes highly accurate predictions about what you might love next,\u201d Clark says.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2203\" data-end=\"2578\">\u201cPinterest is a visual discovery engine, and that\u2019s what sets us apart,&#8221; she notes, explaining that, &#8220;97% of Pinterest searches are unbranded. People aren\u2019t necessarily looking for a specific product\u2014they\u2019re just looking for inspiration&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2203\" data-end=\"2578\">&#8220;We can give users exactly what they\u2019re looking for and introduce them to things they didn\u2019t even know they wanted,&#8221; Clark says.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4779\" data-end=\"5061\">The platform introduced a &#8216;Shop the Look&#8217; feature in 2017, a tool allows users to easily find and shop similar items from a Pin or Collage, making the transition from inspiration to purchase seamless.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"3012\">This data-driven approach is already yielding results for advertisers, with Pinterest seeing outbound clicks to advertisers grow by 90% in Q4 of 2024.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"3012\">\u201cThe click-through rate is off the charts because of how relevant the content is. People are more likely to click on something they feel matches their style or aesthetic,\u201d Clark explains.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4779\" data-end=\"5061\">This has opened up huge opportunities for brands, and the Primark collaboration is just the beginning.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4779\" data-end=\"5061\">\u201cWe\u2019re seeing an incredible response to this [Primark] campaign, and the numbers show that people are not just being inspired\u2014they\u2019re acting on it,\u201d Clark explains.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4779\" data-end=\"5061\">Pinterest\u2019s ability to inspire and drive purchase intent has already seen success with several major retailers, including brands like Asos and Ikea.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4779\" data-end=\"5061\">Asos has leveraged Pinterest&#8217;s visual discovery engine for its campaigns, using data-driven insights to highlight trending fashion items. Similarly, Ikea has used Pinterest to promote its products through targeted mood boards and inspiration pins, effectively blending inspiration with shopping.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5063\" data-end=\"5293\">Pinterest\u2019s ability to inspire and drive purchase intent is redefining how retailers and brands engage with consumers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"5295\" data-end=\"5361\"><strong data-start=\"5299\" data-end=\"5361\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-183706 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.retailgazette.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pinterest-x-Primark-PR.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"418\" height=\"278\" \/> Pinterest\u2019s role in shaping retail&#8217;s future<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"5363\" data-end=\"5792\">So, what\u2019s next for Pinterest?
