Over half of the U.S. population, 56%, is using mobile payment (Apple Pay or Samsung Pay) when shopping, according to Numerator’s 2024 Vision Report.<\/p>\n

The research, which offers insight on U.S. consumer trends, also revealed mobile payments and downloadable content saw the most significant growth in the past year, increasing by 10 and 6 percentage points year over year respectively.<\/p>\n

Consumers are most likely to consider AI shopping tech in 2024, including price comparison tools and clothing size recommendations as well as virtual try-on tech in 2024.<\/p>\n

Another consumer trend involves switching to private-label options to enhance affordability, according to the report. Brands winning in that trend include Great Value, Kirkland Signature, Aldi and Trader Joe’s.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
