Frasers Group has bolstered its board by appointing four new executive directors, as it pushes on with its elevation strategy.<\/p>\n

Current chief operating officer David Al-Mudallal and managing director for sports, Ger Wright join the board.<\/p>\n

Al-Mudallal was hired as the company’s chief operating officer in August 2021, while Wright has served as managing director for sports since 2022.<\/p>\n

Frasers has also hired global CEO of Sergio Rossi Helen Wright as non-executive director of the business, who joins with over 25 years of experience as a senior executive in international luxury and lifestyle consumer brands.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Frasers intends to hire former Financial Reporting Council CEO Sir Jon Thompson as non-executive director.<\/p>\n

Thompson is expected to be appointed later in the year when his current commitments allow, according to the group.<\/p>\n

Frasers Group CEO Michael Murray said: “I am pleased to welcome Helen Wright to Frasers and to the Board and very much look forward to welcoming Sir Jon later this year.<\/p>\n

“Helen’s experience of driving transformation at global luxury brands, combined with Jon’s expertise in corporate governance and major project management will help shape the execution of our long-term strategy.<\/p>\n

“In addition, Ger and David have both made enormous contributions to the ongoing success of our strategy, delivering operational excellence and empowering our business to excel. I am confident that their contribution to the board will help drive Frasers Group to new heights and future success.”<\/p>\n
