In The Style CEO Adam Frisby has stepped down from the fast fashion firm he founded 10 years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

Frisby, who agreed to return to the CEO position when In The Style was sold to private equity firm Baaj Capital earlier this year in a move that staved off administration, said his decision had been made as the business had now \u201cturned a corner\u201d and was back to profitability.<\/span><\/p>\n

The online retailer is predicted to make near \u00a31m profit in its year to the end of March 2024, in<\/span> contrast to a \u00a35m loss last year.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Frisby told his Instagram followers: \u201cThe stress and pressure that comes with running a business is at times unimaginable, it\u2019s been no secret that the last couple of years have taken a personal toll on me and the thing I\u2019ve learnt above all else from this journey is to be more kind to yourself, prioritise your emotional wellbeing and be more present in the lives of people you love.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The founder, who set up In The Style in his bedroom and grew it to a business that floated at more than \u00a3100m, revealed that executive Ben Armstrong would replace him as managing director.<\/span><\/p>\n
