Remember: it\u2019s not about chasing the sales and<br \/>\nour top line.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Three Things to Focus on in Q4<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1. Your Team: Ensure your team knows the daily\/weekly<br \/>\nsales goals. Think about how you can motivate them to meet those<br \/>\ngoals. Can you gamify the goals for your staff? Make sure your team<br \/>\nis feeling empowered, are trained properly in the products you<br \/>\nsell, and that you are communicating properly with them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Does your team know to greet your customers? Are you<br \/>\nasking \u201cis there anyone else you have to buy for?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">2. Stop Random Acts of Marketing\/Discounts: Random<br \/>\nlast minute sales confuse our customers and our staff. Any<br \/>\nsales\/discounts should be planned in advance with intention and<br \/>\ncommunicated properly to our staff and customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you are starting to panic because things are slower<br \/>\nthan you expected, try going live on Facebook or Instagram. Show<br \/>\nthe value of your products through bundling, offering gift baskets<br \/>\netc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3. Wow &amp; Delight New Customers: This is the time of<br \/>\nyear that new customers will be coming into your shop. Maybe their<br \/>\nfriends told them about you, maybe holiday shopping gave them a<br \/>\nreason to make their first visit. Take time to show them around<br \/>\nyour shop, introduce yourself, and make that first impression a<br \/>\ngood one.
