<\/div>\nTesco is overhauling the range of products available in its Express stores to help shoppers with rising grocery bills.<\/p>\n
The supermarket will replace over 50 of its key everyday items with cheaper alternatives, with many coming from its own-brand range.<\/p>\n
It follows in the footsteps of Morrisons, which became the first UK grocer to introduce entry level products to its convenience stores last month.<\/p>\n
Tesco said the own-brand alternatives are on average 40% cheaper than the products they are replacing.<\/p>\n

Convenience managing director Sarah Lawler said: \u201cWe know customers are watching every penny at the moment, so we hope these helpful product swaps will bring down food bills for even more families\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur Express stores offer unbeatable value on everything from essentials to fresh produce, making healthy food more accessible for the 2,000 communities that we serve across the UK.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd while our convenience stores don\u2019t have the shelf space to carry the full range of our larger shops, by swapping these products, we\u2019ve been able to make way for even more of our great-value own brand ranges.\u201d<\/p>\n
In other attempts to save shoppers money, Tesco recently revealed it had expanded its \u201creduced in price, just as nice\u201d signs to 300 more stores since its initial launch in October.<\/p>\n
